This course is suitable for kids aged between 2½ to 3½ years old.
At this stage, young toddlers are learning to grasp the concepts of colours, shapes, lines and textures. We see how these translate onto paper. They have also just started to learn how to hold a pen. Exposure to the arts at this young age can help strengthen dexterity and improve hand-eye co-ordination.
At Toddle Kids, we provide art tools that are appropriate for these young artists to maximize control their motor skills to make a smooth progression from scribbling to drawing matchstick men. We also lay a stable foundation for creativity through the use of visual and audio aids.

This course is suitable for kids aged between 3 to 4 years old. Some toddlers are able to master holding a pen quickly and have moved from scribbling onto drawing matchstick men. Their fine motor skills are developing well and they are beginning to express their self-image artistically.
For this course, we mainly use modern Chinese ink painting in our classes to enable our students to freely express their creative ideas and develop their self-confidence. Motivational monthly themes involving elements of story-telling are deployed in our artground to stimulate our students’ imagination.

At Toddle Kids, we provide our students with a healthy balance of right and left-brain stimulation to improve their artistic and technical skills. This includes learning to use the entire piece of paper, proportionality and detail and to stimulate their creativity. We also aim to expose our students to a wider variety of art forms and materials including modern Chinese ink painting, oil pastels, craft-making and 3-D sketching.

This course is suitable for kids aged from 8 and above. By this age, many children exhibit greater visual awareness of the things around them. They also show more interest than before in drawing people in action poses and costume. Given the increasing pressure on children during their early preadolescent years to ensure their paintings are real to life, art guidance that focuses on visual description and observational techniques can be particularly beneficial to prevent these young artists losing interest in art.
At Toddle Kids, we want our students to continue to love to draw and paint and to believe in their own ability and ideas. Students are allowed to freely explore one or many preferred forms of art medium.
